Privacy policy

The data controller is the site's publisher (see Legal notice). For any question about your data: julien@lequen.fr.

We only collect what the service needs:

• Account: e-mail address, password (stored hashed), radio callsign(s), display name, on-air handle.
• Radio profile: Maidenhead locator and, if you provide it, your precise location (latitude/longitude), country, equipment (radios, antennas), avatar, bio.
• Logbook: your QSOs (radio contacts) with date, frequency/band, callsigns and related location data.
• Communications: private messages sent/received, club posts and comments, contact book, watchlists.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, last-seen date, for security and diagnostics.

• Providing the service (account, logbook, cluster, messaging, clubs, eQSL) — basis: performance of the contract.
• Security, abuse prevention and moderation — basis: legitimate interest.
• Aggregated, internal usage statistics — basis: legitimate interest.
• Optional notifications and e-mails (mentions, messages, news…) — basis: your consent, revocable anytime in your settings.

Your data is never sold or rented. It may be processed by strictly necessary technical sub-processors: hosting provider OVH, e-mail delivery provider OVH, push-notification service. Information you choose to make public (callsign, public profile, posts) is visible to other members.

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time (Profile › Privacy › Delete my account), which erases your data. Technical logs and data linked to an inactive account are kept for at most one (1) year.

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability:

• Access and portability: export all your data as JSON from Profile › Privacy › Download my data.
• Erasure: delete your account from Profile › Privacy.
• Other requests: julien@lequen.fr.

You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

PingDX uses no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Only strictly necessary cookies are used (authentication session, language preference); they are exempt from consent. See the Cookies page for details.
